Latest Updates

What each deployment landed for you — the whole ride, from the first demo wave to today. Newest first.

The gate opens

v0.28.1 · build 867 · 2026-08-15

Signing in works properly again: a real Play Games button on the gate, honest error messages when something goes wrong, and no more dead “Logging in…” screen — the gate can never lock you out.
The start control grew up: bigger title, real ‹ › arrow buttons beside the lozenge for picking your mode.
Now on Google Play closed testing — the beta widens.

The re-lay

v0.28.0 · build 866 · 2026-08-15MILESTONE

Every level in the game, re-laid: hazards now land on the musical grid across the whole ride, bouncer supply is steadier, and no two stretches play alike.
The engine's math is baked in-house — your run is provably identical on every device, down to the last decimal.
NEW on the website: this page — the release story from the first wave to now — plus instant first-paint of our freshest copy.
The homepage's neon strikethrough now only ever strikes forward. It bothered us too.

The capped sky

v0.27.0 · build 865 · 2026-08-15MILESTONE

The stream-glitch sound on level changes is gone — the echo now splices cleanly between tempos.
Ghosts wear the board their run was actually ridden on (old records default gracefully), and the OFF switch finally means off, everywhere, forever.
The super-launch is capped: no more sailing off the top of the screen — the ceiling is the ceiling, for launches and re-boosts alike.
REPORT A BUG from the menu — one tap opens a pre-filled email from you to us.
Every level, L1–100, re-certified beatable without a single death under the new physics.

The finale

v0.26.1 · build 864 · 2026-07-12MILESTONE

The last three levels go to war: two rogue waves on L98, three on L99, two more on L100.
Gaps now visibly dip to the ocean floor — what you must clear is what you see.
Clearing all 100 levels syncs your crimson unlock across every device.

The wall of water, on the beat

v0.25.1 · build 862 · 2026-07-12MILESTONE

Every scheduled wave now wears the WALL OF WATER: a Nazaré-scale face meshed into the line, with an open barrel that never closes.
Levels 92–100 lock onto the beat grid — a full-charge launch is exactly three beats; hazards arrive ON the music.
The oncoming face kills; the back slope rides. Read the water.

Ghost garage

v0.23.0 · build 859 · 2026-07-12

Ghost settings: OFF, MY BEST, ALL-TIME (the level's greatest run), or RIVAL — with opacity and colour to taste.
Ghosts now lean and rotate exactly as their rider did.
Smoother late game: hazard glow is pre-baked, and black holes no longer pop into view mid-screen.

Triple reefs

v0.22.1 · build 858 · 2026-07-12

TRIPLE REEFS from L83 — three-pointed, half-again wider, and exactly as lethal as they look.
Crisp on every screen: high-density phone displays get a native-resolution picture.
The death screen tells you what got you: A REEF, A TRIPLE REEF, A BLACK HOLE, THE ROGUE WAVE…

Launch or die

v0.21.1 · build 856 · 2026-07-11

The crest now kills grounded riders — airborne is the escape. 'Launch or die' is finally true.
Fixed: clean jumps over capped walls no longer get yanked down onto the wall at L75+.

The wave fights back

v0.20.1 · build 853 · 2026-07-11MILESTONE

Reverse waves now arrive on a fixed schedule from L65 — with two forced ROGUE waves lurking on 'safe' levels.
The crest is IN the wave itself: a curling lip you can see coming, with a centre-screen warning.
Every scheduled window is guaranteed escapable — corridors audited, blind kills hunted to zero.
Death sounds mixed properly (your ears are welcome).

Watch My Ride

v0.19.2 · build 851 · 2026-07-10MILESTONE

Die gloriously? WATCH MY RIDE replays your run from the death screen, fast-forwarded to the good part.
Board rows beyond your unlocked level grey out honestly.
Restart defaults to your highest level; skin taps in the garage always register.
Join-the-beta signup goes live on the website.

The journey demo

v0.18.1 · build 848 · 2026-07-06

New players ride a free journey: ten levels to start, ride on to fifteen, then the wave decides.
Play Games achievements wired for level milestones.
Ghosts turn themselves on for ranked runs.

Season one, dressed

v0.17.0 · build 846 · 2026-07-04MILESTONE

BLEEDING RAIN: the full campaign morph earned by a 100-clear — five grades of takeover, code rain, dragons, its own darker soundtrack.
New boards in the garage, including one strictly for testers.

The garage fills up

v0.16.1 · build 845 · 2026-07-03

Premium boards get real looks: the tiger face, transparent vaporwave stripes, a sun in shades, glitch tears, a stage-light hologram, the golden Founder deck.
NEW Fireboard — the L99 capstone that recolours itself to every world's theme.
Levels 21–49 rebalanced after telemetry: fewer impossible void moments, fairer corridors.

The 100-level season

v0.11.4 · build 833 · 2026-07-01MILESTONE

The campaign is cut to a hand-tuned 100-level season — every level earns its place.
Clear all 100 and something crimson unlocks…
Score economy re-tuned around the season length.

Boards for everything

v0.10.14 · 2026-07-01

Per-level leaderboards, plus four ways to rank: highest reached, from-L1, level-only, and start-to-death.
Board scoring flips to authoritative: the server's replay of your run IS your score.
Every phone sees the same fair playfield — fixed logical canvas, letterboxed.
Tutorial bumpers on L1, charge-jump coaching, and guest runs that actually save.

Names on the board

v0.9.1 · 2026-06-29

Run submission goes live — finish a campaign run and it lands on the leaderboard.
Pick your board name (rude ones filtered); guest play works too.
Portrait lock: the wave stands tall.

The honest engine

v0.8.9 · 2026-06-28MILESTONE

The physics engine becomes fully deterministic — the same run plays out identically, every time, on every device.
Every ranked run is now recorded move-by-move so our servers can replay it and check the score is real.
A proper title screen with official Google sign-in.
Menus, audio levels, and game feel polished across seven rapid builds.

The first wave

v0.8.2 · 2026-06-28MILESTONE

The playable demo lands: one thumb, one wave — hold to charge, release to launch, carve the air, stick the landing.
Native Android build with touch controls, fullscreen, and a neon sun on your home screen.
Cloud save with Google sign-in — your progress follows you.
The reverse-wave undertow debuts: hug the ground too long and the ocean comes for you.
A certain rainy easter egg is hidden for the curious.
